Brendan is co-founder and formulator of Vega, the award-winning line of whole food nutritional products.
Brendan is also the international bestselling author of the Thrive book series, and Editor-in-Chief of THRIVE Magazine. He is Recognized as one of the world’s foremost authorities on plant-based, performance nutrition, and is head of Nutrition for the Cannonade-Garmin-Pro Cycling Team and nutrition consultant to several NHL, MLB, NFL, MLS, UFC, and Olympic athletes.
He is a former professional Ironman triathlete, two-time Canadian 50km ultramarathon champion.
From 2011 – 2015, Tyson worked at Recon Instruments, as Vice President, Product. Identified as one of the key individuals in the acquisition of Recon by Intel, Tyson currently works at Intel as Sr. Director, Product where he is responsible for design and delivery of Intel’s new consumer electronics products.
Tyson has held a variety of management and entrepreneurial positions with high growth early stage companies and brings a diverse background that includes: firefighter rappelling from helicopters, launching top 100 ranked mobile apps (Google Play- Revenue cat.), at one time being one of Facebook’s largest advertising partners, to creating innovative heads-up and augmented reality consumer products.
Tyson is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and has completed 5 Ironman races, dozens of marathons, and was the youngest ever finisher at Ironman Canada.
Quinn is a senior product leader with over 10 years of experience leading product development and defining new product categories in the hyper-paced mobility, consumer electronics, wearables, web, and augmented reality spaces. Most recently, Quinn oversaw product marketing for Intel’s head-worn wearables (AR) business unit. Prior to Intel, Quinn held senior, front-line product management roles at BlackBerry, driving the development of flagship smartphones, tablets, OS, and SaaS.
Quinn holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of British Columbia. As an athlete, Quinn has played baseball for over 25 years, including as a member of the UBC Thunderbirds varsity baseball team at UBC, and at the highest amateur levels in Canada.
